Broughton Vale is a rural locality north of the Princes Highway at Berry, on Broughton Mill Creek, with Broughton and Broughton Village to its east. It once had its own council: the Municipality of Broughton's Vale was proclaimed in 1871 and merged into the new Shoalhaven Shire in 1948. Today it is farmland and rural homes along roads such as Broughton Vale Road.
