Living in Far Meadow
Far Meadow is a rural locality directly south of Coolangatta Road, south-east of Berry, with Jaspers Brush, Back Forest and Coolangatta as its other neighbours. There is no village: it is gently rolling farmland divided into small farms, horse properties and acreage homes along roads such as Coolangatta Road, Back Forest Road and Bryces Road. It had its own public school from 1897 until 1970.

Small farms close to Berry
Days here revolve around paddocks, stables and sheds. Coolangatta Road, which runs out from Berry along the locality's northern edge, is the main way in, with Berry's shops, primary school and station a short drive north-west. Shoalhaven Heads and Seven Mile Beach are to the east past Coolangatta, and Nowra is to the south-west across the river for larger shopping and services.
