Living in Jaspers Brush
Jaspers Brush is a rural locality on the Princes Highway just south of Berry, on the way to Nowra. It is green, rolling country of grazing paddocks, small farms and acreage homes along roads such as Croziers Road, Strongs Road and Devitts Lane, some with views back to the escarpment. It had its own railway station from 1893 until 1951, and it is named after John Ingold's brother Jasper, who died in 1869 before he could leave England.

Living here
Paddocks south of Berry
Life here is about land and space: paddocks, sheds and a short run up the highway into Berry for coffee, the shops, the primary school and the train. Nowra, further south across the river, has the larger shopping centres and services, and the highway makes both easy to reach. Far Meadow and Back Forest are the neighbouring rural localities towards the river.
