Living in Croom
Croom is a rural locality in the City of Shellharbour, between Albion Park, Albion Park Rail, Flinders and Dunmore. Its history goes back to the 1,280-acre Croom estate of the 1830s, later farmed by Ebenezer Russell, whose former homestead survives as Glenbrook Cottage on Croome Vale Road. It is still mostly farmland with a small number of homes, and the M1 Princes Motorway now runs through it.
